(5/08) Join the joyful ministry of teaching! Search for wisdom from world religions, age-old cultures, and modern science. The ministry of teaching on Sunday morning offers all this, as well as the opportunity to connect with families in our beloved community. Our cooperative learning experience depends on the gifts of time and talent from parents, caregivers, and other adults in our church. Create the change you want to see in the world by offering to teach. Please sign-up for the summer program, We Are All Connected:Butterfly Creepy Crawlies. Consider teaching for a longer period of time as we begin to recruit for next year. What a positive statement would be made if every teaching slot was filled! Do we value our children and families as much as we say we do? Then show it! Answer the call to teach with “YES”!
It Takes a Village
(5/08) Shout out to Job Rabinowitz and Ward Ramsdell who sponsored our high school youth at the CONada youth event in Vancouver, B.C. in April. Did you know that Ward has attended 17 youth cons in the past eight years? He is the Con Guru for our District!
Hurray for Steve Smilove and Hung Wasson who accompanied our young youth to the Cluster Middle School Con in Corvallis. The theme was Tending Your Spiritual Garden. Everyone had fun despite sleep deprivation!
Cheers to our creative and talented youth for the wonderful worship services on April 27. I am so proud of them! Thanks to Job Rabinowitz and Jen Hill for their dedication to youth ministry this year.
