SEAC, pronounced 'seek' stands for " Seeking Solutions"
SEAC Committee is UUCCWC's presence in the larger community and coordinates Human, Social, Environmental, and Action projects and opportunities for church members to do good and to meet needs in the community, the nation, and the world.
SEAC Committee Activities
The SEAC committee focuses on activities of the UUA Washington Office for Advocacy and our UU affiliations; UU-United Nations Office, UU Service Committee, UU Ministry for the Earth (Green Sanctuary), and UU Welcoming Congregation Program, and of local Washington County non-profits.
SEAC - Who May Participate
Anyone may participate in the Committee and its activities, regardless of membership in the church.
New Ideas Welcome
New ideas are welcome. At monthly committee meetings the Action of the Month and other activities to publish in the UUCCWC Newsletter are decided.
