We humans aren’t born patient.
It is a learned virtue, and not an easy one.
It seems, that in the year ahead, our discovering when to practice reflective
patience and when to actively engage will only grow more challenging.
Nature offers us abundant wisdom.
My aging but tenacious cactus birthed one glorious blossom after a year of patient preparation. May we prepare our own hearts and Spirits for the days ahead with equal dedication to our liberal religious values.
