welcoming congregation logo as issued by the UUAIn this dark and troubled time it is even more essential that we be kind.
Kind, but firm in our resolve to no longer stand
silent while the inherent dignity of others is trampled.

We stand firmly to proclaim that love offers a better way:
Our faith and our congregation’s embrace Life’s diversity as our blessing.

We affirm this in our broad welcome.
We support the truth that only through loving one another will our world
move towards a more just and compassionate reality for all.

We will continue to Stand on the Side of Love.
We will continue to celebrate Life’s diversity as enriching.
Love is Love.  Love is Love.

The shootings in Orlando are not “their loss” … it is OUR loss.
We grieve, we hurt, we will not waive in our compassion and support.

banner, Standing on the Side of Love, hanging on the church buildingMay we, in these hours post the horrific massacre of GLBTI
folks in Orlando Florida, offer our re-commitment to the power of:

our shared UU faith to overcome hate and injustice with love;

and our steadfast refusal to allow this to become the new norm for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren.

WE WILL FOLLOW OUR FAITH AND BUILD A NEW WAY
ROOTED IN LOVE AND JUSTICE FOR ALL LIFE.
