Thanks to Our Volunteers!

Diverse Hands Holding The Word Volunteer

Our wonderful UUCCWC members and friends volunteer in numerous ways to maintain and improve our vibrant church community. Volunteers beautify our grounds, maintain our buildings, manage our finances, ensure we have wifi and working electronics, make music in our sanctuary, run our many groups, sit on our Board of Trustees, engage in community action and so on. The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that approximately 25% of adults and youth volunteer.

The most common volunteer activities by rank are:

  1. Religious
  2. Social, Education and Youth Services
  3. Social and Community Action

Volunteers are thus vital to the religious work that happens in the U.S. Volunteers are often employed, with families, and sometimes they volunteer for multiple organizations Their time is precious, yet they devote some of it to UUCCWC. We owe our volunteers a debt of gratitude for all the work they do for our organization, and for others! Thanks to volunteers, the world is a better place!
